A scorching case of PINK BUY?!?

Here's the real scoop on health-related matters: the day before we were united with CJ, Dan (who many of you know is Mr. Anti-Pink) and I got worried we hadn't brought enough warm clothes for her, so we did a little shopping. Dan picked out an outfit where the predominant color was pale pink.

Now, who's not feeling well!?!

Seriously, I'm getting back in the land of the living -- the regimen of antibiotics I've been on has been key but your wishes for my speedy recovery, and especially seeing and knowing CJ is happy and healthy (and an awesome sleeper to boot!), have been the best medicine!

It's OK Dan. It happens to the best of us, but soon you'll embrace pink for the few years she is a baby. Then there will be other things you said you'd never do or allow and eventually, as we all do, you just let go and enjoy your absolutely beautiful daughter. I think she not only is progressing quickly, she's definitely getting cuter and cuter by the photo. You are some real lucky parents and the struggle you have endured to get here has really paid off. Bring her home quick...we can't wait to meet her.

Dan, Meg and CJ
We are so delighted to view your photos and comments and share in your wonderful experience. We loved the video of CJ and it was great to hear your voices as well....as for the pink...what can you say. Jim has tried really hard to push orange and brown but it is a losing battle....travel safe and hurry home...

Ha!

We dressed Lily in boys clothes for a year so we could see her in Black and Red and Orange and Brown. I wish the fashion experts would get more creative.

Anyway, the No-pink rule became the No-Pink-Alone rule and then the No-Carnation Pink-Alone rule. Now it's just the No-Dora-with-Hunks-O-Glitter rule.
